Recent events in Israel and Gaza are making headlines, France is political turmoil, Biden’s administration is teetering, inflation continues to remain high, global stability is not great, scorching summers in North America. No wonder the Rapture index is sitting at an alarming 185! That’s even higher than the Obama years!!! :-)
In certain circles, there’s a lot of talk about whether these events are a fulfilment of the prophecies in the book of Revelation. I get weekly emails with urgent sometimes even panicked questions on this kind of stuff. It's understandable that people, especially those soaked in a tradition of comparison between politics and prophecy, might draw parallels between current events and prophetic forecasts. But it's also important to approach these comparisons critically, soberly, and with wisdom.
