Launching the Paideia Academy

Hi everyone, I’m launching a new initiative on this substack, the Paideia Academy!

What is it?

The Greek word παιδεία, paideia, means “training, instruction, the act of providing guidance for responsible living.” So the Paideia Academy will be some instructional videos on various things in the Bible, Theology, and Church History.

The lectures and talks are drawn from my YouTube channel, but I have stratified the content to make it easier to navigate. So rather than search for stuff on YouTube, you can find lectures in the categories of Second Temple Judaism, Historical Jesus, Christology, Paul, Early Church, Systematic Theology, and Apologetics.

Most of the materials are free to view via YouTube, however, in the future, I do intend to put up some special lectures for paid subscribers to the Aviary.

In due course, I will kick off with some posts leading into some video lectures on Philemon and Jude to get things started for Aviary members. All that and more to come!
