Lectures on Egalitarianism and Religious Freedom
The funny thing about being me is that I get labeled a leftish liberal or right-wing fundamentalist depending on the topic and depending on who I’m talking to.
As an egalitarian, I get accused of being liberal, leftish, or capitulating to culture.
On religious freedom, I get accused of being a theocratic nationalist.
As it goes, this year I’ve done a lecture on biblical egalitarianism for the Sydney chapter of Christians for Biblical Equality and I did a lecture on religious freedom for Denver Seminary. I’ve posted the video or link below for you viewing pleasure!
Find below, two lectures on biblical egalitarianism, including: (1) How Changed My Mind on Women in Ministry; and (2) 1 Timothy 2 and Romans 16: The Epicentre of Egalitarianism.
Find here, my lecture at Denver Seminary’s Gospel Initiative on Living as a Christian in a Secular Age. This lecture looks at recent challenges facing religious freedom and how we need to think about church and state separation.
