Paul in Cenchreae

A new video about Paul's relationship to a port city east of Corinth

Hi everyone, in this video I give a 7-minute lecture on the significance of Paul's time in Cenchreae in 57/58 AD recorded on location at the ancient site of Cenchreae!

Cenchreae is significant for

(1) A place of rest and respite for Paul ahead of his journey to Jerusalem and then Rome;

(2) The location from where he wrote the epistle to the Romans; and

(3) The role of Phoebe as a deacon of the church and Paul's benefactor who was sent to deliver the letter to the Roman house churches.
