Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church

If you read the news, you’ll know that the Russian Orthodox Church has been highly supportive of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Telegraph’s podcast on the war has a great interview Olga Lautman about the relationship between the Kremlin and Patriarch Kirill. A terrific listen!

I do wonder, however, if the picture is even more complicated than implied in the discussion with Lautman.
