I’ll be curious to see why you keep wanting to assert your Calvinist calling card, since these seem like basic Christian beliefs, agreed upon also by those who do not claim to be Calvinists. I know you don’t toe the typical Calvinist politico/culture line, so maybe this is why the assertions. I’ll read with interest.
In the most vocal circles, there is only one type. My way or the highway. And you aren’t following THAT way both culturally or in the details of many Calvinistic doctrines (and I don’t mean that in any bad way- just I’ve read your Systematic Theology). I want to hear: why not just say you’re a Christian? I’ll hold other comments till Friday’s post to see how you frame this. Curious.
