Monday: A Religionless Society Will Still Have Gods  (Free sign-ups!)
Why is religion declining and what, if anything, comes after it? My guess is that after religion comes politics and pleasure as the religions of the late twenty-first century. What replaces religion then is either the quest for power or the lust for pleasure, the clenched fist or a phallus, an M-16 or sex toys, worship of Putin or Lady Gaga.
