My fifth book was called Crossing Over Sea and Land: Jewish Missionary Activity in the Second Temple Period, a prequel to my PhD thesis, about Jewish missionary activity in antiquity.

Tuesday: The First Left Behind Novel (Free Sign-Ups)
My latest video provides a short introduction to Hippolytus' treatise On Christ and Anti-Christ, an early third-century work that tries to explain from the Christian Scriptures who the Anti-Christ was, how he would arise, and what he would do.

Wednesday: Unpopular Reflections on Roe vs Wade (Free Sign-Ups)
At the risk of infuriating everyone, I’m gonna explain why I’m pro-life, but why I have doubts about the US pro-life movement.

Friday: Kevin De Young's Defence of Patriarchy (Paid Subscribers)
Over at Desiring God, Kevin De Young has written on, “Death to the Patriarchy? Complementarity and the Scandal of ‘Father Rule’.” I have four points of contention against him:

1. KDY is insufficiently Calvinistic.
2. KDY is insufficiently biblical.
3. KDY moves from biology to application and misses everything in between!
4. KDY posits a false dichotomy.
