Several years ago I wrote an article on a “modified reformed view” of justification for a great “views” book on Justification edited by James Beilby and Paul Rhodes.
This looks good, except for the word "acquit." I'm going with Gordon Fee that acquittal cannot be what Paul means because acquittal would mean that the believer is actually innocent of any wrongdoing, but such a person then would not need God to do anything.
