Paul within Judaism: An AI Conversation
I generated a podcast about Paul within Judaism by using AI
My friends, I did a freaky experiment, I’m talking mad-scientist exegesis stuff.
I used Google’s NotebookLM to turn my intro chapter on Paul within Judaism into an AI generated podcast with two-speakers.
It is … amazing.
Both the way it summarizes the chapter, but also the realistic and vibrant conversation that takes place around the contents made by the two speakers.
It is a terrific pedagogical tool.
Have a listen … it will weird you out!
Amazing that your monologuic writing's been turned into a stimlating dialogue! One thing, though, and perhaps a good thing. One can still tell that this is AI, not actual people, as the dialogue is *too* perfect; no hesitations, no gaps between turns, no overlaps/interruptions. But it's intriguing to say the least.
I'm really torn about things like this.
Technology is a two-edged sword, and it always takes away something in exchange for giving something. The problem for most of us, myself included, is that we can't see what it's taking away until it's (usually) too late.
Every time we use these AI tools, we are actually making them better at what they do. This is a good thing if the AI tools are beneficial or at least neutral. But what if they are also nefarious in some way? What if the Law of Unintended Consequences comes back to bite us?
