Same as Joe Martin for me. They should be allowed to. What we really need are the Beatitudes. Carry on! :-)

I voted “no”, because I, personally, don’t think courts *should*. But I’d vote “yes” to a poll question asking “should courts be allowed to”.

Should it be allowed? Yes. Required like Texas is trying to do in their public schools? No. I think the US Supreme Court got this one right.

If everyone agreed on displaying the Ten Commandments, which version should be displayed:

Exodus 20: 2-17, NIV?

Deuteronomy 5:6-21, King James Version?

Separation of Church and State is not a USA constitutional phrase. I agree with it, but separation of God and State as you point out will never happen. Also, the USA constitution states "congress shall make no LAW respecting the ESTABLISHMENT of religion, and those displays don't "establish" a religion, they simply recognize (rightfully, my YES vote) the source of our values, and are most likely not placed by any "law".

I think some of the pushback today is the values represented are no longer so popular.
