Thank you! What a step forward!! For over 30 years I have suffered with a mobility impairment (walker/wheelchair), speech impairment at times, and autism (thankfully very high functioning

intellectually, but difficulty at times socially). I understand the weakness discussed. In my one book I wrote, "I remember well the shame, “the mark of disgrace,” I felt that first time I had to use a wheelchair for long distances. I had joined the minority class labeled “disabled.” Soon after followed the raised voices from those strangers who addressed me, speaking slowly to account for what they perceived to be my diminished capacity to hear or understand. Had I suddenly grown hard of hearing? Was I now suffering from cerebral dementia? Certainly not!" By the grace of God, I have been encouraged by His church to pastor and teach Systematics in college, but there is so much that could be done in this area to enable believers who are not disabled to relate emotionally and intellectually to the struggles of the disabled. Paul's attitude toward weakness seeing it as a step up, not a step down, toward spiritual maturation and intimacy with Christ has been such a blessing to me, as has this podcast.
