This is outstanding!! For years I was an ardent pretribulational dispensational premillennialist. I am no longer but hung on your every word. How exciting to come to understand the roots of this theology. Your critique raised issues that I personally had with this system. To perhaps oversimplify, I have always parroted the slogan, we are looking for Christ not the Antichrist in opposition to what seemed to be an obsession with identifying the Antichrist. I struggle with the identification from the "seventy weeks" prophecy in Daniel of a seven-year tribulation period at the end of the present age. How solid is that argument, and why does it say 1260 days in Revelation. Can we say with certainty that it is seven years? I can't! I particularly appreciated your pointing out the "hatred" toward certain nations or groups of people. I am well versed in this position but have a myriad of questions about it. Today I feel much more comfortable with the already not yet view of the kingdom and covenantal pre-millennialism. Love your reflections in your book, "Evangelical Theology" on the subject and look forward to the next video.
Well, perhaps it was even earlier: 1 Enoch!
