I actually want to know now what light it threw on Ezra Nehemiah now, as we are studying Nehemiah in church and mid week groups.
And I would also love to know your discoveries or insights into the Septuagint as well as value of the Apocrypha. I know the Anglican 39 articles view but maybe you could flesh it out with your own insights. (Maybe 2 future articles?)
Well Dr. Bird, based on the description provided, I think your book on 1 Esdras must contain very valuable information about how the writing was viewed in early Christianity. I remember some discussions in class, using the LXX as well, many years ago during OT studies, but we didn’t dedicate much time to it. Anyway, I think I might get it through ILL at my local public library. Wish me good luck!! 😉

Not demanding you tell us, but just really curious to know your thoughts on these topics.
Have watched the video and enjoyed it! Love Mary Collis's points.
