Hi Michael. I heard your subscribers only “Ask NT Wright” where you talked about Deacons. Perhaps the Anglicans should take the example of the Scandi Lutherans where there are ordained deacons who are employed to have responsibility for the social care in a parish. You can get a degree in deaconing. You can also get a degree in Catechising and wind up with a job running the Christian education. Best from summery Norway.
