As a native Aussie, could you answer a non-sequitor (but pressing question) question that my kids have? Are there regional dialects in Australia? This came up while watching Bluey. :) Thanks!

No, not really. Some accents are thicker than others. But there's no Queensland, Melbourne, or Perth accents.

Thanks for this. What is the reasoning behind /basis for saying that not all pastors are elders?

Rebecca, you can a pastor of a church, or have a pastoral role as a lay leader exercising some capacity. Remember that the majority of church ministries are down by the laity. So you can have a worship pastor, youth pastor, pastor of counselling who is not necessarily THE pastor or one of the elders of the church.

I thought you are a convinced Anglican. Do you not subscribe to the role of the magistrate, viz. that 'they should rule all estates and degrees committed to their charge by God, whether they be Ecclesiastical or Temporal, and restrain with the civil sword the stubborn and evil-doers'? (Article 37)
