The average congregation is more distanced than ever from the "structures" and an understanding of clergy role and their own role as boxes need to be ticked and decisions made with little consultation or information. A major component for post-ordination training is perhaps about how to be the leader/pastor/priest while also a member of the community where members are affirmed and enabled to be going about God's mission where they are.
