Harold Netland's soon to be pub'd Religious Experience and the Knowledge of God: The Evidential Force of Divine Encounters (everyone needs some Phil of Rel in their intellectual diet)
I stumbled over David Teems' work this past year, beginning with his remarkable (and so beautifully written) bio of Wm. Tynedale. Wow! Now in a second read. Also just finished The New Atheists: The Twilight of Reason and the War on Religion, by UK Tina Beattie. Exceptional, and as a writer, I especially appreciated her chapter on the arts. Wishing you a blessed '22!
I am a kiwi finding my own way through the themes of the Bible. Appreciate your insights into the literary world. Last year I discovered Michael Gorman so your remark was very encouraging. Currently I am reading Daniel I Block Covenant Gods Grand Plan for Redemption … any thoughts or recommendations of a book on the covenants would be helpful.
I'm finishing Essentials of Pentecostal Theology (Richie). Might be looking into Dickson's book on Evangelism and Matthew Bates' short book on what the gospel is, for youth group early next year. My TBR list is far too long, so I'm unsure what will be after that.
Will also be getting and doing Be Thou My Vision: A Daily Liturgy (not certain on the subtitle), and am trying to work out how to start doing the Daily Office (especially considering I need to confirm exactly what that is)

Stock's book has caused no end of controversy over here . . . Enjoy!

Thanks for inspiring me!
